The Palm Beach County Convention Center is a multi-purpose facility in West Palm Beach, Florida. The entire setting consists of a 350,000 square-foot center, which features a 100,000 square-foot exhibit hall, a 22,000 square-foot ballroom and 21,000 square feet of flexible breakout space divisible into 19 rooms. The facility opened in January 2004 and hosts many high profile events. It is located across the street from Rosemary Square, an upscale shopping district with nightlife, restaurants, and shopping.
Royal American Carpets furnished the Palm Beach Convention Center with the Custom, High-Traffic, Woven Axminster Carpet throughout the entire facility. The Axminster Carpet provided for this project was produced using 80% wool and 20% nylon, with a 10-row density of 44 oz.; an optimal specification for its heavy foot-traffic areas.
