Custom Woven Axminster Carpet Installed at the Playa Del Mar Condominium in Fort Lauderdale, Florida

Playa Del Mar is a luxurious High Rise located on the famous Galt Ocean Mile in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The Condominium decided to make several interior renovations, which included new hallway carpet. Royal American Carpets furnished Playa Mar with High-End Custom Carpet throughout the corridors.

The 370 unit Condo is directly on Atlantic ocean, with over 400 feet of private beach. It was exciting to work with a Luxury Condo on the internationally famous Galt Ocean Mile. The process contained several meetings to determine quality, design, and budget. The approved product was our Woven Axminster Carpet. This selection came after weeks of design work, sampling, and 3D illustrations.

The custom-designed Axminster carpet arrived within the accurate lead time as promised. Carpet installation was a success thanks to East Coast Flooring & Interiors of Pompano Beach. The Playa Del Mar, along with our staff, are happy to say that the carpet looks stunning! The Fort Lauderdale high-rise now has even more of a beach ambience.

For this project, the Axminster Carpet was produced with 80% wool and 20% nylon. Other options for this product are 100% solution dyed nylon or 100% hank dyed nylon. The wool/nylon blend was the right choice for this condo based on a variety of factors. Royal American worked closely with management to provide the technical information & optimal specifications.
